Parent Council
EHTP’s Parent Council provides a platform for parents to share ideas, gain a stronger awareness of their children’s after school performance and activities, and enriches the overall EHTP community. Parents are actively engaged in a series of activities directly linked to EHTP’s program goals. Parents participate in special events and workshops featuring such critical topics as financial aide, admissions for middle school, high school and college, test-taking best practices, healthy eating, and financial literacy. The Parent Council is designed to support parents from various background and living under a range of circumstances. EHTP provides child care during meetings and workshops, refreshments at events, translators for non-English speaking participants, and other support as needed.
